CAMPAIGN promises from last year’s Swapo Party congress are said to be fuelling the alleged death threats made against Prime Minister Hage Geingob. Law enforcement sources told The Namibian that preliminary findings in the investigation pointed towards harassment rather than life threatening threats.

A clear picture has emerged of a plot to eliminate a number of Swapo Party members following Hage Geingob’s victory at the Swapo Congress last year.

In order to rinse themselves of the widespread accusations and perceptions of tribalism and other divisive vices, the Ondonga Traditional Authority (“OTA1”) and the King of Ondonga must repudiate and disown the dangerous and tribalistic eviction order published in the media last week.
