Through his latest propaganda “article” entitled “NSHR coffers dry up” which was published in his Namibia Yesterday, the constantly lying and probably the most notorious spin doctor Namibia has ever produced, Asser Ntinda, has done it again. Last Friday, Ntinda claimed that NSHR coffers have “dried up” and that the root cause of this were the “lies, fabrications and anti-government utterances” by NSHR executive director Phil ya Nangoloh. Ntinda claims that this was “confirmed” to him by an NSHR employee who allegedly told Ntinda anonymously that NSHR donors have stopped funding the human rights organization supposedly because of ya Nangoloh’s “lies” contained in NSHR’s 95-page dossier on mass graves. The dossier was released on September 9 2008. Ntinda claims that the “Swapo Party” government has investigated the allegations contained in the NSHR dossier and has found that there were no such mass graves at all.
Ntinda also recycles his previous lies that ya Nangoloh has “chickened out” of a police investigation mission to one of the mass graves found on the Namibian side of the Angolan-Namibian frontier. However, Ntinda is conveniently silent about the fact that NSHR has since released a follow-up dossier--complete with color photographs, annexes and names of alleged victims and alleged perpetrators as well as witnesses. Entitled Nambia: Enforced Disappearances: Discovery of ‘No Name’ Gravesites: Addendum 1, the latest dossier was launched at a local hotel on November 11 2009.

Nor does Ntinda care to mention that there is a standing invitation (and in fact this is a challenge) to the “Swapo Party” Government to accompany NSHR investigators to the sites of the latest discovery near the Angolan border. The “Swapo Party” government has so far been unable to officially respond to this latest challenge and has apparently chosen to remain silent also about the latest report. Like the previous discovery of mass graves, the latest discovery was made by NSHR with the assistance of villagers and former and incumbent members of the Namibian security forces.

The fact is: Ntinda and his cohorts have come to realize and recognize the enormous influence and impact NSHR, under ya Nangoloh’s leadership, has in the country. They have recently accused NSHR of having engineered the formation of RDP and they have claimed that “a coalition of reactionaries under the leadership of Phil ya [Nangoloh] and his cohorts made feeble attempts to rewrite and tarnish the SWAPO Party’s glorious name and proud history” and that the aim of the alleged coalition was “to mislead innocent Namibians and create conditions to unseat the SWAPO Party Government from power, install a puppet regime in Namibia and promote the selfish economic interests that will only benefit their masters”. Hence, being one of the frontline combatants for justice and an indefatigable champion for democracy, good governance and respect for human rights in the country, ya Nangoloh has been a principal target of Ntinda’s lies during the last 20 years of Namibia’s existence as an independent nation. Other traditional targets of Ntinda’s venom have been persons, such as academic Henning Melber, journalist-cum-political analyst Gwen Lister as well as investigate journalists John Grobler and Max Hamata, to mention but a few.

Ntinda has been a writing a series of defamatory “news” and “editorial” articles by which he  has attempted to endanger ya Nangoloh by inter alia depicting him as a person who does not deserve to live. Among other things, Ntinda has been referring to this country’s leading human rights defender “a coward”, “a sick person”, “a bastard” an “enemy of the Namibian people”, “the most wanted person in the country”, and “a pathological liar” as well as numerous other defamatory and dehumanizing references whose intent is to incite members of the general public to have ya Nangoloh assassinated. According to Ntinda, ya Nangoloh have written about so many “lies” about his father, Dr. Sam Nujoma. Hence, he (ya Nangoloh) does not deserve to live!

Since the discovery and subsequent exposure of the mysterious mass graves along Namibia’s northwestern, northern and northeastern frontiers which were discovered with the assistance of members of the Namibian security forces in September 2008, Ntinda has been leading a defamatory campaign claiming that ya Nangoloh has “dug up” mass graves in southern Angola and has “brought bones” into Namibia, such that he is now being possessed by the demons.

Now the ever lying spin doctor has apparently forgotten all those lies he has been writing so much about in the past in order to defame ya Nangoloh. He now wants us to believe that after all it was all lies by ya Nangoloh and even after Ntinda had claimed that ya Nangoloh had dug up such mass graves, there were no such mass graves after all. Which graves then did ya Nangoloh dig up from where he brought bones into Namibia? If this is true, and it is not, where did ya Nangoloh dig up the bones, which he according to Ntinda, brought into Namibia?

Ntinda has also repeatedly been telling this nation and this world that ya Nangoloh is “a proved and confirmed a pathological liar”. This means that ya Nangoloh is a person who has never ever told the truth in his whole life. But then again Ntinda also implies that despite ya Nangoloh’s “lies”, NSHR under ya Nangoloh’s directorship has always been receiving funding from donors.  What then is the difference between the other “lies” which ya Nangoloh has been telling and the “lies” which ya Nangoloh “has told” about the mass graves? Is Ntinda implying that such “donors” are only discovering now that ya Nangoloh has been a “a pathological liar” or what?

Ntinda’s “diplomats” supposedly also told him that they are content with the system of democracy in this country. This is another pack of pathetic lies from Ntinda as volumes of human rights and other reports have consistently shown that Nambia has never really been a democracy despite its truly democratic constitution.

Remember that this is the very same Ntinda, who recently found that a “sick” RDP President Mr. Hidipo Hamutenya (HH) had traveled to Germany to obtain medical treatment following “shock” which HH supposedly received from a fraudulent electoral process in November 2009. Now Ntinda wants you to believe him that, after all, HH was not sick at all. Rather, he went to Germany to conspire against so-called liberation movements in southern Africa and to bring about regime change in Namibia.

What the people of Namibia are waiting is for Ntinda to fake and create more pack of lies against ya Nangoloh, HH, Gwen Lister, Henning Melber, John Grobler, Max Hamata, Ndapwa Alwwendo, the donors and so on without any remorse.

There is absolutely no donor who is worth his or her salt in this country or even beyond who would honor Ntinda with even a one second interview. The only “diplomats” in this country who would honor Ntinda an interview could only be those from Robert Mugabe’s ZANU-PF group or from Iran, North Korea and Burma where there are no respect for human rights, let alone democracy and good governance.

You can only fool some of the people some of the time but not all people all of the time. Ntinda’s lies are increasingly catching up with him and haunting him! This is very good! I wonder whether Ntinda and his cohorts will soon not be embarrassed and will be forced to swallow their lies after the impending injection of donor funding for NSHR to carry out its activities.
